Rushana Buddha's Head


Kayo chan took me to Mukoryoji famous for this head of the Rushana Buddha. Rushana Buddha statues are usually sitting, but this one has only the head. Looks rare, rather, weird. But one legend suggests that this Buddha grants people's wishes and hopes related to the head. Of course, I prayed, please do not make me demented.



This sign is hilarious! It reads, "Thieves, do not come because the temple is poor. Scholars, do not come because the priest is unlearned. Salepoeple, do not come because the priest is unsophisticated." Well, I thought this is a temple for the head ...

District Governor Night


Yea! Free dinner and free drinks! Well, I worked for them, ahem. I served as greeter at the front desk to entertain people who checked in. To tell the truth, I like that kind of hostessing people.

Anyway, tonight, our RC had a dinner party at Hilton, inviting District Governor. It was fun as always, and it was a little bit of politics as always. But it was fun overall, and that's important. And that's why I like R.
