Green!

Mt. Koya is full of green. The color and shading of moss on trees and gravestones are fantastic!

Hamadaya!

You should drop by at Hamadaya when you come to Mt. Koya. Goma-dofu (tofu made of sesame seeds) of Hamadaya is just fabulous.

Six pieces of goma-dofu cost 1,600 yen! The price is also fabulous.

Things That I Did Today

First thing in the morning, oh, well, I woke up after 10 though, I went to a hardware store to get a roll of mosqito net and stuff. And I replaced the screen, upon my mom's request. Since I came home, I have also replaced the paper screen, upon my mom's request, of course. She save it until I came home. Jeez, she was planning. Anyhow, unlike the paper screen, replacing the mosqito net is much easier and kind of fun. Well, I might be tactfully taken in.

The next thing that I did was transfer plants to larger pots. I started it because I wanted to have distractions from transcribing the recordings. But I found that I got a good feeling from digging and touching dirt. It turned out to be another fun stuff.

Now, I've got to transcribe the last recording!!! No more distractions!

Done!

Yeah, I'm done with transcribing! Thank you for the participants in my interviews!

Transcribe, Transcribe, Transcribe

Squeal! Since I came back from Tokyo, I have spent most of my time transcribing the interviews. I have managed to finish transcribing the interviews with Japanese people, but I still have three interviews done in English. Ahhhh, English is killing me! I have spent two days to transcribe one one-hour interview in English, but it still has 15 minutes to be done. I'm going crazy! Squeal!

Michael Moore

This is a very pro-Michael Moore video.
